Join an immersive investigation to help Sherlock Holmes solve a crime

2h
More than just a guided tour, join a real investigation! Thieves have stolen an artefact from the National Museum of Scotland. Help Sherlock Holmes find out who did it during an immersive crime case where you’ll have to crack puzzles to solve the mystery. Along the way, learn more about the famous detective and discover how Edinburgh inspired Conan Doyle when he wrote the adventures of Sherlock Holmes.
Tour Highlights:
Edinburgh's Dark Alleys: Walk through the narrow and mysterious closes and wynds of Edinburgh's Old Town, where shadows hide secrets waiting to be uncovered. From Everett Lupin to Doctor Watson, learn more about the suspects of the crime and the investigative techniques invented by Conan Doyle.
The Royal Mile: Stroll along the historic Royal Mile, discovering the locations that served as inspiration for the Sherlock Holmes adventures. Solve puzzles related to the characters and events that unfolded on these historic streets. The perfect spot to try solving a puzzle based on body parts!
Greyfriars Kirkyard: Discover how body snatchers used to steal bodies from the cemetery and how the serial killers Burke and Hare inspired Conan Doyle.
Grassmarket: At the bottom this 15th century market hangings took place, and their ghosts fuelled Conan Doyle's mysticism and beliefs in the afterlife.
Add-on: For £35 per pax join a Conan Doyle inspired escape game after your guided tour. Step into the shadowy world of a 19th-century anatomist, where grave robbery, mystery, and malpractice lurk in the basement study of Dr. Malcolm. How has he acquired bodies for dissection? What secretive research unfolds here long after dark? And what horrifying event did Mr. Patterson witness that made him flee in terror? Uncover the secrets within Dr. Malcolm's journal—if you can find it before he returns...
