Tour Highlights:
Explore Leith: Our journey begins in the historic Leith, where you'll be greeted by your knowledgeable guide for a 1h30 walking tour. Off the beaten path, Leith is a treasure trove of history, street art, and modern charm. Explore the alleyways of this dynamic neighbourhood that has thrived alongside Edinburgh since the Middle Ages, as your guide shares fascinating stories of the area's maritime past and its transformation into a trendy, artistic hub, which thrives thanks to the spirits industry. During your tour, try some local snacks to whet your appetite!
Moonwake Brewery Tour: After soaking in the local atmosphere, we'll head to the Moonwake Beer Co. for an insider's look into the craft beer scene. Forget about gigantic operations, Moonwake is all about carefully crafted local and innovative brews. For example, ever heard of an Edinburgh stout? Meet the passionate team behind the magic as they guide you through the brewing process, from raw ingredients to the final product. Witness the state-of-the-art brewing equipment of this independent brewery and learn about the art of beer-making!
Tasting Flight with Local Pairings: The highlight of your experience awaits as you settle into the Moonwake’s cozy tasting room. Indulge in a carefully curated flight of three distinct pours, each showcasing the brewery's range of flavours and styles. To elevate the experience, each beer will be expertly paired with local cheeses and cured meats.
